linea negra
Tepic, Nayarit
Linea Negra was an interior design project for a local tattoo artist who was expanding his business to a new location. The design process consisted of a series of consultations to understand the client’s vision, operational needs, and long term goals. The result was an operational and functional space that prioritized his client's comfort, a space for their companions, and room for staff expansion. Today, this place is one of the most iconic tattoo places in town.
EL Rodeo
Tepic, Nayarit
A 4480ft² private residence located in Tepic, Nayarit. The project involved all phases of development, from design and documentation through construction. Being located on a corner made it an interesting challenge to take advantage of two different streets as well as the slope of both.
Sena de Luna
Tlajomulco, Jalisco
Located in a residential neighborhood in the south area of Guadalajara, a two story home was constructed on a property of 2034ft². This residence resulted in an open concept layout with well-illuminated spaces through the kitchen, living room, gardens, etc as the client requested.
Residence Rooftop
Tepic, Nayarit
In 2020, I had the privilege to work with an amazing civil engineer (my dad) on the design of a rooftop for a private residence. The original rooftop was underutilized due to its continual exposure to the elements. The proposal consisted of a steel structure that provided protection from both rain and sun to ensure the space can continually function as an inviting space year round.
La Cruz de zacate
Tepic, Nayarit
La Cruz de Zacate is one of the oldest churches ever built on the Mexican west coast. A place full of history. Transforma Nayarit was chosen to lead the restoration on this project, giving me the chance to help transform this amazing place to it's fullest potential. The project consisted not only in restoring the existing church, but the estate next to it, turning into a religious museum who would allow everyone to know the story of their founder, the church, and also a place that could have local expositions and events.
Instituto Metropolitano
Tepic, Nayarit
A private medicine school required expansion. This project used the front access of the school to create new spaces (two levels) that will allow it to have more amenities and to offer more quality services to a larger number of students.
capilla de la cruz
Tepic, Nayarit
A client came to us with the idea of designing a temple on a hill in the city of Tepic, as well as some columbaries for those who wanted to make it their final resting place. In the concept process, we proposed some changes that will allow better views, keeping the idea of the temple on the slope.
La Giralda
Zapopan, Jalisco
For this project, I had the chance to work with NIER architects, a local firm, as their project manager. The firm's owner, Javier Chavez, also owned an events venue located on this corner property. However, as the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the events industry, an opportunity emerged to reimagine the property for a new use. Taking advantage of its prominent location on an important avenue, the project was designed to use the ground floor as retail, the upper levels as apartments, and the a top floor as an amenity area featuring a gym and grilling area. Giralda has a total of 57 apartments, with about 764ft² each.
Anuva Residencial
Zapopan, Jalisco
In 2021, in collaboration with Idex, we created Anuva. Anuva was a project that consisted on 410 apartments, split in 4 different towers (each one looking from different cardinal points). Amenities like a dog park, swimming pools and playgrounds are located on the top floors and right in the middle. The front consisted of two floors of retailers to take advantage of the busy avenue.

I worked as a project manager, working hand in hand with the client, the architecture firm (sometimes actually designing spaces like apartments, patios, and the swimming pool with them), the engineering teams (HVAC, mechanical, civil), and the construction team. I conducted regular construction site visits to ensure the work was carried out properly.
STADIUM APARTMENTS
Guadalajara, Jalisco
This was a conceptual proposal, where the client needed to demolished a single-family house and rebuild the area into residential apartments. The primary challenge was to create well-ventilated spaces with an appropriate amount of natural sunlight in every part of the building. The proposal included three levels, with two apartments per level.
Pinar de Atemajac
Atemajac, Jalisco
In collaboration with another architect, we designed this entry in the town of Atemajac. The entrance would work both as a welcome and as security filter to keep the residential neighbor safe. The idea was to make the structure similar style to the typical cabins seen in the area by using local materials such as brick and stone .
Medyarthros MEDICAL CENTER
Guadalajara, Jalisco
ADC was given the opportunity to build a new medical center for Medyarthros (the original one was a few blocks from there). Seeing a demand for an expansion, they planned for this property to become a sports facility. On this project, I assisted the project manager by reviewing the existing plans, crossing them with all the construction documents and making sure that things align as they should, as well as developing construction plans for interiors (flooring, ceilings, walls, etc.).
Epika Chapultepec
Guadalajara, Jalisco
Located in the heart of the city, designed by GVA (Gomez Vazquez Arquitectos) and managed by ADC, I had the chance to assist the project manager reviewing the project, all the plans and crossings, review plans, and schedule meetings to collaborate with the architect team to resolve any issues and ensure the project runs smoothly.
Aguamarina Mazatlán
Mazatlán, Sinaloa
Designed by Francisco Gonzalez Pulido (FGP Atelier) and managed by ADC. I had the opportunity to assist both the architect team and the project manager. A major part of my role was to review each apartment and hotel room to verify each space fulfilled the requirements of the municipality.
