Tepic, Nayarit
In 2025, the government of Nayarit, without any explanation, decided to demolish the entire park known as Ciudad de las Artes. This park was the home of some cultural buildings that included the orchestra, the school of music and the dance school; it also included an open amphitheater, skate areas and gardens. Half of the park was destroyed but luckily was stopped by society.
The protests to save the space included architects like myself, who decided to create some proposals that would help the space to be rescued and adapted properly.
